SnapCart

For craft fairs and makers markets

Take payments at craft fairs without a card reader.

Your work deserves a better checkout than a crumpled price list. SnapCart puts every piece on a phone-sized shop behind one QR code. Apple Pay and cards on the shopper’s own phone, plus Venmo, PayPal, Cash App and cash.

What you get

  • Photos sell it

Shoppers see each piece up close and zoom into the detail, even when your table is three deep.

  • Sizes and colors, counted

Each option has its own price and stock. When the last blue mug sells, it shows sold out.

  • Busy table, short line

Three people can check out on their own phones while you wrap a fourth order.

  • Paid the way they like

Apple Pay and cards on the shopper’s own phone, plus Venmo, PayPal, Cash App and cash.

  • Keep selling after the fair

The same link goes in your Instagram bio, so someone who walked past can still buy on Tuesday.

  • Show specials and codes

Mark pieces on sale for the last hour, or hand out a coupon code on your business card.

See it on a phone

  • A shopper’s phone on a shop page: maple syrup in three sizes, one item in the order and an Apple Pay button

Every piece with its photo, in each size and color.

  • The shopper’s paid screen with the big order code K7M to show the vendor

Paid, with a code to show you at the table.

  • The vendor’s live order list: two paid orders to hand over and 11 maple creams left

You see the order and hand it over. No reader.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Add your pieces

Snap a photo of your table and SnapCart fills in the products, or add them one by one.

  2. Step 2

Put the QR on your table

Print it on a card, a sign or your price tags.

  3. Step 3

    Hand it over

Each order dings your phone with a short code. Match it and hand over the bag.

Questions

What does it cost?
The free plan takes cash, Venmo, PayPal and Cash App with no monthly fee and no SnapCart fee. Apple Pay and cards come with Silver Onion: Stripe’s processing fee plus 2%, and nothing when you don’t sell.
Can I ship to people who buy after the fair?
Yes. Turn on shipping with a flat rate per order or per item, and mark which products can ship.
Does it work for one-off pieces?
Yes. Set stock to 1 and the piece shows sold the moment someone pays for it.
Do I still need a card reader?
No. Shoppers pay on their own phone, so there’s nothing to charge or pair.
